After the 8th inning started with a double play, they rallied for 5 runs and had the tying run at the plate with† 2 outs before the game ended with a long fly to the outfield. In a game where no more than 3 runs separated these teams until the 8th when Legacy scored 5 to take a 2 run lead 15-13. Flatwoods tied it up in the bottom half leaving 2 men on. Heading into extra innings, Chuck Sellers made a diving grab to stop Legacy from scoring,then Flatwoods scored a run in bottom half to win 16-15. Scott Sanford led Flatwoods going 5 for 5.
