After an intentional walk to Pat DeLeo to load them up,Bo Passen ripped a line shot to the fence in center to win it. Ocala came out early with the hot bats and took a quick 8-2 lead after 2 innings. Stonecrest continued to chip away at the lead playing small ball and speed on the base paths to close to 8-7. Stonecrest would explode for a 5 spot in the bottom of the 6th and take a 12-8 lead. Meanwhile the Ocala bats had grown cold until the 7th when they would score 3 quick runs and close the lead to 12-11. The Stonecrest defense was steadfast in the 8th securing the one run victory. The big guns for Ocala were Mike Kovach with 3 hits and Andy Allen, Carlos Arroyo and Steve McNally with two hits each.
